Crab and Chorizo Crostini

Ingredients

  • 4 ounce Daniele Chorizo Chub
  • 1 loaf Ficelle or thin French baguette
  • 5 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive oil
  • 8 ounces Crabmeat
  • 2 ounces Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, Finely Chopped
  • Dash Salt and Fresh Ground Black Pepper

Method of Preparation

Preheat Oven to 400°F. Slice the bread into ½ inch thick slices and brush with olive oil. Arrange bread on a baking sheet and bake until lightly toasted.  Remove from oven and let cool before topping with mixture. Slice Daniele Chorizo on a bias and bake until crispy. In a large bowl, whisk together the crabmeat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, fresh parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste. Makes 25 Crostini.
